		<description>Browser plugins have complete access to the underlying OS so can do pretty much anything a normal app can do... so the fact that it&#039;s in-browser isn&#039;t really that impressive. It&#039;s just a standard Windows app but displayed through a &#039;hole&#039; in a browser.

More impressive would be if it was using already established / widely installed / cross platform web tech such as Flash, Java etc. The web doesn&#039;t need a whole raft more proprietary plugins.</description>
